    Wrong.
"If you have enough room to hit him with an elbow, you have enough room for your fist & you can ALWAYS hit HARDER with your fist! If you can get him to run straight into the point, fine. But this horizontal SWINGING stuff doesn't cut it. (assuming you know HOW to punch, practice breaking bricks, etc.) Besides, you expose your 'funny bone' pressure point to your opponent's advantage, you don't want to do that.
Move from CENTER, your WHOLE BODY is the strike-Ba Qua😉👍

Elbows are lethal, land one and someones either cut really badly, or plain just hurt and your elbow bone is very strong.

Elbow strikes are very deadly and yeah, best for quickly giving yourself safety by landing a clean hit through the face with one of your elbows. Though if you were to use this in sparring or practicing, I suggest you go very slow as it is very *dangerous*.

My favorite part to hit an elbow at is to the knee so it twists so if someone does an side kick to you if you have time to grab the leg grab it and then elbow to the knee that insane amount of damage if you get hit by an elbow in the knee your dead it atleast hospital

I hit a guy with elbow in 9th grade. I was like 14 at the time and been in taekwondo since I was 10. I had 4 hard years of training by this time. And I’d never been in a fight at school. I’d always walk away and ignore verbal bullies. Well, a guy who bullies smaller kids got me in a full nelson and I stuck my thumb in his eye, (deep) he let me go and he was right up against me still. When I spun around I caught him with right elbow in the lower mouth/chin/bottom teeth area. He was knocked out at that moment but I didn’t notice it. The dude was older, bigger, and a lot stronger than me. And I didn’t think the elbow would be enough to stop him. He slumped towards me right after I made contact. So I though my best chance would be get the fight to the ground. So as he slumps I leg sweep and pull him with / towards (the way he was already
going, I used his leverage against him) and I spin around where he lands face down and I’ve got his back. I get him in a RNC but I realize at that point he was snoring from the elbow. He never even caught himself. He just face plants the side walk. So I never had to clamp the choke down. That fight landed me some respect from the whole school. But it also landed me two more fights with that guys family. His little brother (who was the bigger brother) and his first cousin jumped me (not at the same time, two different times) but that’s two totally different stories I won’t get into. They where both untrained also, so yeah. Easy work. But yes elbows to the jaw, chin, lower mouth will stop a bigger attacker. It’s a great tool to have in the arsenal.

See a knife run for it, dont be an idiot thinking you can disarm it. You'll get cut and bleed to death. Hope these shorts are taken out of context or else this guy doesn't know what's he's talking about

I think this is an excellent video. If someone's back in a way and tries to hit you and hits one of those elbows it's really hard on his hand
