    Imagine 100 fights:

    99 boxing win.
    1…maybe wing chun win.

It makes me so happy when people understand that it's not style vs style it's person vs person, as ip man says, it's not matter what style the problem is you

Thank you very much for this video. I am trained to hit with terrific force from a short distance. Also you can hit 5 0r 6 times with wing chun. Thank you for the expertise in trapping.

The one thing that kept ringing back repeatedly is "not style vs style but person vs person" this is very very important to know

Great video. "Its not style vs style, that's just clickbait." — 100% true.

Maybe use your Wing Chun to enter the clinch with advantage, control the neck, and finish with an elbow or a sweep. That's what I usually try to do.

2:24 you nailed it, Kevin. You're hitting on a principle of Taijutsu here… (Paraphrase, in-short: don't box a boxer, grapple them… And if someone grabs you, hit them)

There's no shame in cross training and borrowing from other martial arts. There's a reason why the various Ninjutsu organizations (To-Shin Do, Akban, Bujinkan) study 9 different ninja/samurai ryu-ha/traditions… Two of those schools are specifically Jujustu systems.
Only a fool would be so arrogant to pretend one system has all the answers to every "what-if"…

A good teacher doesn't let ego (or his favorite art) cloud his judgement. Self defense is incredibly nuanced and there's no simple answers to complicated questions. Great video as always!

    Respect!

In mijn opinie is wing chun alleen niet effectief in een gevecht, maar is het wel een goede training om snelheid, coördinatie en reflexen te trainen… groeten uit Gent, België 🇧🇪

So if I’m fighting a wing chun guy, and I’m boxing, I want to go with a jab overhand or jab cross to body
