Doesn't matter if the victim was involved in criminal circles or not. This could very well happen to any innocent person in even the must unlucrative of homes, and the threat is all the same. Any situation we see where a person's life and safety is compromised is always a lesson for us to learn how to better prepare ourselves for the same threats we may face in our own daily lives.
I'm always astonished about how paranoid Americans are, sleeping with their guns under the pillow, but apparently not worried enough to reenforce their front doors. It's almost as if they want to have a shootout.

thats intense how many people there are raiding a small apartment of a single person, especially how half of them are armed with weapons that potentially could go through the walls, i have compact PDW sub guns with 30+ rounds after having played pavlovVR at league level and learning the lessons of having enough rounds for everyone walking into a room, this truly is a terrifying concept that even in reality the necessity of higher capacity military grade arms are suited better for home defense, having to deal with 5+ people threating your existence armed to the teeth is someone no one should have to deal with alone and at that point i'd be buying the neighbor some guns and a door camera

It looks like the home invader turned the light on, actually. The one on on the left of the door turns around and you see him lift up his arm and turn the lights on. It wasn't the home owner.
The way he goes around that corner is aaall wrong.
I'm not positive, but if you look at the video close, I'm pretty sure the bad guy actually flipped the light on.

John, you said you prefer using long guns for home defense. Do you worry about over penetration with rifle rounds? I was always under the impression hollow points main function was to prevent over penetration especially through interior walls.
