If you’re attacked by someone bigger than you it could be a good idea to carry a weapon or equalizer. A baton is a good choice if they are legal where you live. Learn some basics for handling a baton for self defense, if you use one make sure you’re well trained with it.

Batons are illegal in most “ civilised “ countries , as are blades, knuckle dusters, tactical pens etc. The best weapon is a firearm if you can legally carry one ; otherwise train in Krav Maga , Silat or other effective martial art, that might help a little but it’s not guaranteed. There are some things one could legally carry that would not be considered “ a weapon “ for example certain non locking knives up to a certain length , a regular plastic BiC type pen, small box cutter, multi tool, etc. it depends on the country .

This is another excellent video. Great advice on what is allowed to strike or not strike. The laws differ from state to state. Its too bad that the person that want to harm you can sue you for harming them with a weapon

Hi Kevin, appreciate the content and would sign up for this to be taught at schools. Could you do a video on how to protect yourself when someone grabs your hair from behind and pull you back off balance as this is what happened to my friend on the bus home from school as he was attacked on the bus by someone grabbing his hair from behind then pulled him to the floor and unfortunately kicked in. Any advice would be welcomed as this is sought of attack is getting more common. Thanks

Unfortunately in Massachusetts those are illegal, use them on anyone even in self defense you're going to be facing serious charges
