No disrespect to any martial art because I believe every martial art is good in it's own respect but a boxer would destroy any wing Chun user in seconds

Why you all use bong sao like a defence block? Its a passive movement just use your triangle structure. Use jat, pak or tan so.

    Wing tsun facing boxer:
Step 1: put both hands up and hope to dear God you're able to block.
Step 2: if you survived step 1,drop that stupid shit and start boxing. We're not in Hollywood.

Going to add this to in support of Wing Chun.

You regularly practice strikes to the eyes, throat etc..
Kicks are usually for the knees to break and tear ligaments. (like kicking someone's knee sideways)

Everything I just stated, is illegal in MMA/Octagon/cage w/e for obvious reasons. Knee breaks like that can be career ending.

It was an martial art designed to finish fights quickly and get away by a woman being harassed by men.

Being successful in competition, does not equal success in an actual fight, but we don't have safe analog for that so…. here we are.

Sorry, grabbing and blocking is a low, low percentage defence, unless you are highly skilled and your adversary is a dufus.

Francis ngannou went into boxing and made the baddest mf look like a bitch boxing is getting exposed now why you think no top contender or champion in ufc is only a boxer or why pro boxers are to pussy to go into a octagon boxing is not a complete and is a basic combat sport and every combat sport have the same strikes even someone that knows nothing of boxing at all can throw a jab hook uppercut over hand😂😂 also thier blocking tactics don't work with 8 oz gloves and the weaving and counters are good but barely any boxer weaves at all from all the boxing fights I've seen and if they do weave mma fighters just kick the shit out their legs and body😂😂

But the problem is that boxers train to throw fast punches. Meanwhile, the churner is trained to be a drill master But has knowledge of blocking and trapping. That is why it is best to learn about both styles of light spar.

Wing Chun is very aggressive and oppressing in close range, it just lacks good footwork and it struggles against kicks or any attack you cant directly parry really.

IDK why people are bashing Wing Chun, Anderson Silva used the heck out of it.

Usually I will laugh at this kind of demo, but seeing Sean Strickland man handled Izzy using parry techniques just like these, I have to nod my head in agreement.

Im a defensive counter fighter who has fought a number of registered (yet still amatuer) MMA fighters. My defensive counter style has provided many valubale lessons to less diverse fighters. Muay Thai, BJJ, and standard boxing dominate the MMA community however a wing chun thats been developed through application mixed with judo creates a beautiful combo. I have stories im proud to share with generations beyond me

I did 5 years of Wing Chung. They saw my talent and sponsored me to fly to China . I trained and lived with people who did Wing chung with Hard Sparring. I was promoted and confident how powerful wing chung is. On my way back home i made a detour to Thailand. Muay Thai kicked commonsense into my face . Now i do Muay Thai mix it up with western boxing. And Grappling. Don't waste your time guy's. Do real things for real results.
