Grapple on the hand the knife is in block and hold at the same time.
Also you should always control the hand the weapons in.
No matter how trained you are a knife fight is something you never wanna be in.

It'll be better to side step in ANY knife fight…
Then grab, punch or kick in a quick motion after you've sidestepped!
(Knife attacks are quick…sooo you would have to be quicker!) 🤷♂️

If you fight a guy head on who has a knife you WILL get cut.
Unless you have a gun or can’t escape do NOT engage .

This theory of practice is 110,000% wrong!
Never EVER take your focus off of the Knife, and ALWAYS make your Primary Objective be that of Removing that weapon from the equation -even if the person places the other arm around your neck and attempts to choke you out <–that's when I slip my chin down and BITE! Add I'm healing over that weapon!!!)
