How about throwing your money at him to get him startled while drawing your own weapon to ventilate him. Two to the chest and one to the head.

I once had a friend put a toy gun to my head and pretended like he was going to shoot me. Now I didn’t know if he had a bullet in there or not and since we were on grass I decided to counter. Note that his right hand is holding the gun straight. I used my right hand and went underneath is arm to grab his forearm and lifted it up so he couldn’t shoot my head. I then pulled his arm forward over my head and then flipped both of us to the ground but I had the superiority since I had my body mass on him and my hand still on the dominant hand with gun. At that point I could have disarmed him(and to be honest I could have defended that gun better but I felt like doing a takedown, also the gun was touching my head so that’s how I knew) but I decided not too since he wouldn’t have been able to do anything against me at that point. Yeah the ground was a little harder than I though but he was ok after a couple of minute and a pat on the back.

same moment you try to move, the gun will follow you and you will get shot. if somebody point a gun at you it will always be at safe distance first, second even if the gun is near you, as long you are in line of fire you will get shot. Moreover your friend is collaborative, nobody with a gun would stand still like that, like they are having an hemiparesis, plus the triggers of modern guns are extremely sensitive, so a little pressure of the finger on the trigger (which can be cause by a sudden movement perceived as aggressive from you) and you are gone. Same when you fight with a knife, you will get cut or stabbed. You are teaching people how to die.

    this aint John Wick.
if they gonna shoot ya… ur gonna get shot… PERIOD!
literally NO ONE fully extends their arm during a hold up or while accosting someone.
actually in this situation youd be better off NOT handing over ur wallet.
drop it on the ground, then close the distance.
70 percent chance youll get shot but a moving target is harder to hit.
statistically once the gun is fired hell run.
so u wont get shot twice.
    course…
7 ft 220 lb bald tatted Kevin aint exactly an ideal target for a random attack eh?

Quick question. Is the other to grab a gun a good way also? Like left hand goes for the wrist. And the right hand goes for the barrel, and you can twist it off super quick? Kinda like the movies?

This is useful insight. Of course easy to be a sideline critic. But I've actually been held at gunpoint as a kid and I'm appreciative of this channel. Thank you.

I used to think that a knife had to be close to the victim to be lethal, while I assumed that a gun was a weapon that could harm the victim from a distance.

Clearly, I was mistaken since the assailant got so close to the victim.

Although this ended up getting him disarmed… 🤨

You may likely end up with a hole or two. At least you will go down fighting.
The best time to "go for it" is when you are giving him your wallet.Your decision.
