Want to know the best way to set up your AR? You don’t have to upgrade to this year’s “latest and greatest.” I had it taught to me, year’s back, that “you don’t need a new gun until you can out-shoot the one in your hands.” Do you really need a gun that’s capable of .25 MOA groups when you (as a shooter) are only capable of shooting 2 MOA groups? Do you really need this year’s “fastest Shotgun” when you drop half the shotgun shells while loading on the move in a 3-gun competition? Master what you have. When you can outperform your gear; then you upgrade.

There is NO SUCH THING AS AN ASSAULT RIFLE , that’s a term Hitler devised to convince the public he could win the war … stop sounding like a liberal news idiot
Sometimes i find myself complaining about the modern tech world we live in but i have to say having free lessons and info from a green beret is a real luxury thanks man
Why is your shorty AR vid down?
Which LPVO? I couldn't understand what he said? "Horsevision"
👍
Thanks for your video and service. Keep up the good.
Is that saddam hussein picture on the wall?
Muito bom.
This is one of the best damn videos explaining AR loadouts. Straight to the point and no non sense. Bravo!
Great info and even better advice. Thanks for posting Karl!
Good Stuff!
What's an assault rifle?
Canadians watching – Our what?
Instead of 1-7x LPVO scopes, it would be better to get a 3-9x LPVO scope, and utilize the 45° offset sites. The offset sites could be a red dot &/or iron sights.
Now you're prepared for everything from CQB to hunting food or the enemy at longer diatances. Ultimate setup lol 👍🏼
Back up sights, a Surefire weapon light, ACOG 1.5x 16s or some good quality Red Dot. Optic with tritium/fiber optic capture for illumination in case battery fails.
A few years ago I was the kind of AR owner who puts a bipod on a knife, but now I am the opposite, if it's useless then I don't need it, if I don't need then it's useless, I like the way he talks about how to setup an AR, no arrogance, he just informs you as best he can 👍
With an AR 15…. Everything should be CQB.
Got a Vortex AR.

Epic music
I gotta admit I have just barely heard of this page and I’m very impressed!! VERY good information!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Really like this page! 😎🇺🇸
I thought I would like adding a 3x magnifier to a red dot, but then I did it, and it turns out, I hate it. It didn't occur to me that the magnifier would also magnify the actual dot, along with everything else. Suddenly I felt like I was shooting with a red golf ball in my site picture.
AR is an excellent platform,… last year it became prohib in Canada….. alas. Forced to use your advice on a different platform.
I know I'm late to the party but nice to see a video where someone isn’t talking about having nods and IRs the whole time, not all civilians will ever need them or even get their money worth out of the cost, good to talk about practical applications for the AR.
i like how they use cs go music for background music
Love your reviews brother, I see guys I know that have gear on their gun that they will never use, your truck or beside the bed weapon doesn't need all that "g money " stuff, now if you have SHTF platform in the arsenal cool, but that serves a purpose for that reason
Great and informative video.
I remember the marines would issue acogs but you had to turn it in with the carry handle as well at the end of deployment. So people would just put the acog on and just kept the iron sights on the side near the front of the rifle. You never used it and only did that so you won't get yelled at when it ends up missing. I never seen an acog fail and I never seen any optics fail. And we're talking about using the rifle as a step ladder here so it wasn't like it wasn't getting dropped and abused. Once I saw someone putting the rifle over a tank barrel to do pull ups with the acog on it and it never broke. It takes a lot to break the acog or any good sighting system. I still use the acog as it is quite possibly the best sighting system I ever seen. I don't know why people are worried about breaking a sighting system. Would you spend 1k on something that can break? I think you'd be crying more so than flipping your iron sights. I know I would. I'd be a grown ass baby at the range if my acog broke and the last thing on my mind would be flipping the iron sights on.
100% keep it simple and reliable
should have simplfied this video. Either focus on home defence setups, hunting or sport. Someone using an AR for home won't need the same setup. Especially at realistic home engagement distances of about 15 feet-25. Id argue there's really no reason to use an AR for "home defence"…a shotgun or pistol should do. The more compact the better. Too long and most people will end up jamming the barrel tip into furniture by mistake…snagging it…might have 2 kids with..right hand holding firearm…likely need to be good at firing with only one arm…no time to go into "commando stance" or do a "commando roll"…and this is IF we manage to call 911 AND gather our family into one safe area in time…BEFORE any bad guy nears..
20 yrs military and I never heard about the crook of the elbow. Thank you
Bro, I love it! You are like if Christopher Walken was a Green Beret. "I got a Fevah….and the only prescription…is more Iron Sights baby!!!!" New to channel, like the pointers on an AR15 build, there are good budget options out there as well. I purchased a Ruger AR556 because when it all came down to it, I did not have the time to find good parts and put my own together. It is more accurate than anything I used in my 22 year career as an Infantryman.
