Palm strikes are effective for Self Defense. When used right can deter an attacker. Palm strikes are also easier on your hand than hitting with a fist. #selfdefense #selfdefence #martialarts #kevingoat #slap #palmstrike #attack

This is none other than the "Golden Technique", or at least half of it. The left arm could go ahead of the right and really stop the opponent. Nice.

The worst thing I see all the time with these tactical guys there always preaching be prepared but there always wearing flip flops I’m just going to smash your feet or go on some rocks and your going to trip yourself trying to scramble in flip flops sure I wear flip flops about 10 percent of the time going out if I’m lazy but I never make it my go to and I wear pants and a belt vs beach clothes 24/7 and I live where it’s well over 100 the majority or the year so suck it up wear pants and boots if u wanna play mr. prepared for all

In real action that Haymaker would come 10 times faster. And you wouldn't have the reaction time to block it, even you

I used to take JKD here in Illinois but the instructor moved to Arizona and close the school. I enjoyed that quite a bit. You Art reminds me a lot of JKD.

What do you do when you have a group of say 4 men, rush you and try to grab you ( kidnapping). I watched the terrible video of a woman and s man being kidnapped by those in Gaza. It's horrible! What can you do in such a situation? How do you fight back? Thanks.

SoooooOooo!?!?….. I don’t k ow why ….. of all these types of bullshido to the actual reality of what can help you in split second thinking/timing, buBBBUUUUTTTT! I’m the event ur caught off guard and you have never really Been in an actual fight ( there are so many) and if you can go through ur life with out having to defend yourself, then you not only were raised wrong, you, as an adult, chose not be able to defend yourself or ur loved ones. Instead, you choose to hire people that can defend you whilst advocating against violence….

Imagine being out with kevin and someone tries to start trouble. He starts chanting in mandarin expecting him to call upon the ancient Shaolin and use tiger claw or drunken boxing only to find he goes for “sifu slap”

The hand slides down the arm to slap, but what happens to the momentum of his fist? His punch stays on course and literally was almost touching your face with nothing to stop it. I like the slap but what’s gonna happen if you get walloped at the same time? Serious question
