unfortunately in a situation like this if you bad guy continuously is ripping shots at you like this going back and fourth at the side of the car…..the back stop is unfortunately just had to be a last thought as its not big enough of a "what if this happens" to just not shoot and let the threat harm you and you family and they arent even taking off away from you and firing not 2 to 3 shots but 15 to 20

I dont know the defender but I'm so happy to know that he and his family are unharmed. His kids must be the proudest kids out there.
Deverick was reckless with his actions. His whole family was in that van, yet there he was, hopping back and forth from behind the cabin. Never use the part of a vehicle as cover where people are located. Instead, either stand firm and take out the target immediately, or take cover away from the vehicle. This guy is lucky he didn't get his family killed.
