I actually have a undermounted 870 shotgun. Literally I call it “Billy”. Why did I get one? Because I could. I liked the idea. And I think if your first round is that bad ass 13 gauge boom it sets the tone. But fuck Carl is right. It’s heavy. It’s slower to manipulate. And a day of training killed my arms. But everyone still laughed and had a go with it. So even if it’s only for a fun it was an eye widening experience for many just how much a Billy rifle takes to yield.
