Do you own a pair of scissors? Operate your own lawnmower or chainsaw? Tear it up in the kitchen like Chef Bobby Flay with a fancy set of kitchen knives? Well at GTC we recognize that for even the safest people out there, sh!t happens; and when it does, are you going to be prepared?
Topics covered:
Basic first aid.
Basic bleeding control and wound care.
Current trends in tourniquets, bandages, and emergency medical equipment for civilians.
How to build and utilize your own personal first aid kit.
Hands-on scenario based practice.
Equipment needed:
A sense of humor.
A notebook and pen.
You are welcome to bring any first aid kit you may have already built for yourself for use during hands-on training.
