i actually appreciate you for making videos like this that actually inform people about avoidance instead of just trying to act all cocky. I don't know if this video is related to a comment I made on one of your shorts a few days back, but I got a nice little kick out of your comment about the "crazy seat belt stuff" at the end of the video because I think I praised you guys about not being like those people (as in the seatbelt, recline ur chair videos).

Also, if someone is making you uneasy while you are inside an establishment, and you are uncomfortable walking to your car alone, ask for an escort. Most places will gladly oblige.

As you are approaching your vehicle, scan the ground underneath.
As you are approaching nearer to your vehicle, scan the windows, to see if anything is 'off' inside.
After you unlock your door, and have scanned around you, before entering the vehicle, check the back seat/s to be sure no one is there.

I've recently seen some things about cars being 'tagged' in various ways – under the door latch, one was about tires – but you need to be mindful of that junk, too.

If at all possible, never go shopping alone at night.

If, when you pull up to your home, your gut tells you something is wrong – don't go in. Call the police. Don't be embarrassed.
