Also worth noting how boxers and mma fighters slide with the punch so they don't absorb everything it had behind it. Anderson Silva was a great example of it just watch him versus Adesanya. Takes a lot of practice but well worth learning to lean and roll versus just taking the abuse and hoping to still be standing afterward.
I know Kata is not fight training, but the beginning of the 5 Pinan katas teach a great lesson. Each of them is practiced as if an attack is coming from the side.
You move away, face the attacker, and get both hands between you and them. We call it a panic movement.
Hey why are showing them how to protect themselves against us😭🤬✊🏾. 😂
this is amazing 10/10
Just a WARNING to the Thai teacher you really shouldn’t use the HOLY SPIRITS NAME IN VAIN
People are more vulnerable nowadays because of mobiles lol ….
The way these videos start always give me a good laugh. 😂
Situational awareness. Key true. You can be Mike Tyson. Not paying attention.
No
U really remind me if samdak from viral hit, thanks for your self defense tips as always 💯
But I’m watching this on my phone
Bro , can’t say enough how beneficial your short tips are , keep up the excellent work .
Don't Walk Watching Phone!
Yeah, "get off your phone!"
what you call the "holy shit block" is what ilan srulovicz over on the inside fighting channel calls the "rhino." it's interesting how everyone who fights eventually comes up with the same toolkit
Be so highly trained that you're sphere of awareness is large and you're never taken by surprise anywhere, anytime.
I haven't been in too many fights but you raised a point that I learned immediately yet I rarely see any other martial arts guys make. It doesn't matter how good of a fighter you are if you don't see it coming. Situational awareness will keep you from getting hurt, because it is the ones you don't see coming that hurt you the worst. Especially in a crowd. Several times I was able to avoid the fight because they realized that I was aware of them. They don't want to fight usually, and risk getting hurt, they just want to hurt someone at minimal risk to themselves.
I see so many victims walking around nowadays! Head phones on, music blasting and hoodie pulled over! Can’t see or hear anything! Victim, waiting for a place to happen!
get of your phone? when? should I expect a sucker punch at all time? I'm not allowed to text outside anymore?
Poor Erik!!
😅
He reminds me of tom hardy 😊
😂 what the hell did he call that at the end? Did anybody see what he did??
The point of a "sucker punch" is that you don't know it's coming – there's no defence for that other than being a fucking mind reader.
What is this bullshit?
😂 get reak your never now .
Tha why is call suker punch
Everyone should learn how to slip a punch
That's good and all but that's why it's called a sucker punch cuz usually don't see it coming. Now someone you can see is starting to posture up or put their arms down or turn around but sometimes people just deck you and you got no chance.
Duck em mayw
Steven Segal style. All choreographed!
No, do not turn into it.
Peel away and drop. Create distance. He’s speaking from years of training with close in fighting. The average viewer is not experienced enough to fight at his level.
Peel and drop, and make room.
Simple but great and proven technique.
U know what u r clown 😂😂😂
I have observed people get sucker punched, most never saw it coming, which most cases people were not trained or were not watching their surroundings. I saw this dude get sucker punched from behind, where the sucker punched charged the guy from a flat out running stiff armed fist from about 30 feet away. The guy that got sucker punched just dropped, he got helped and the sucker punched got surrounded and we John Wick/Jack Reachere'd his Azz Bad !!! A person, no matter how well trained may get a sucker punch, usually from behind. I get someone trying to sucker punch me, that's never been accomplished, but if it did, with the training that I do have and my reflexes and mentality, man I will go insane like instantly into DEFENSIVE RETALIATION TASMANIAN DEVIL MONGOOSE TCB MODE, but Noone is Invincible !!! Love Your Videos & I Make Time To Your Tutorials l🤛👊🤜l Stay Safe Brother !!! 🆒👍🇺🇸🙏 DDH 11-17-2023.
And practice using tour peripheral vision by extending your fingers out and back until you can barely see your tips. Or stair and think about everything you can see indirectly

Cool! The knockout game was so terrible a few years back!

I got suckered punch by a mental inpatient. Sneaky bastard blended in with all the braindead patients till he got next to me. Didn't knock me out, maybe because I worked out my neck in the past. I was only able to stare him down till everyone got in our way to stop the fight 😅
yo he just knocked that guy out
Bong sao?
Some people are so obsessed with their phone, they would not even be aware when they die.

That floating fist, waiting to hit the target during the lesson….is exactly how I felt when on patrol overseas, waiting for the inevitable ambush.
