Glock triggers are crap, so def change that and maybe sights.

I swapped my Glock trigger out. For a Glock trigger. Just put in the Glock Performance trigger and polished the metal parts on them. That and an aftermarket optics plate for my Acro because Glock doesn’t make one and their optics adapters are trash pot metal anyway

Magpul mags suck ass. I would run KCI over magpul polymer mags, atleast KCI has metal inserts like the glock mags.

I never change and never will change the internals of any of my Glocks. My life depends on them too much.

As a competition shooter I can tell you that the chances of you winning a comp with a bone stock firearm are slim. The delta between 1st and 2nd is often just a tiny fraction of a second. In the championship I shoot in this year after nearly 12 months of comps the difference between 2nd and 3rd is about 0.08%.

Had to swap out springs in my model 21 because I had a couple light primer strikes during a bowling pin match. I couldn't tell you how many rounds fired flawlessly before that.

The things I replace in my Glocks are the sights, metal guide rod replacing the plastic and an extended slide release .. All these are the weak points in the Glock that should be standard in the design ..

I am Advanced Glock armorer and have seen some crazy stuff over the years. But NP3 coated safety with upgraded safety spring, polished trigger bar, upgraded adjustable trigger shoe plus a polished OEM Minus connector will make for an amazing trigger. I do not like to change the firing pin but I have put a competition spring in and a tungston or stainless guide rod.

Leaving a Glock OEM will never get you a win in a competition, but no a titanium firing pin is crazy.

But I still carry a pretty stock OEM Glock as my EDC with a Green Dot SCS and a minus connector. And only OEM magazines for EDC or competition.

My gen5 Glock 19 has had a number of failure to feeds, well cleaned well lubed, is it dependable still in my mind, absolutely I can clear the malfunction easily but just cause it’s a Glock doesn’t mean it’s gonna run flawlessly

I know what you mean. Had a stock g17c for over 10 years I did polish the internals no issues. Installed a timney alpha and it failed after 50 rounds. 2nd timney trigger is holding up but I don’t think I’d recommend it.

A tungsten guide rod is absolutely better than the stock. So is the Glock performance trigger. The standard sights suck to. So really there's only three good upgrades.

Steel is actually harder than titanium, just heavier as well.

Lol a friend of mine bought a Glock with a custom American flag print on the slide. That thing was splitting open by the ejection port down the long axis by about 30 rounds.
It’s not the prettiest gun, but it wasn’t made to do pretty things. Only thing I’ve ever done is add on a red dot and change to suppressor sights. Well the sights are off but the dot is spot on. Not a fan of messing with internals. I thought about a heavier guide rod but couldn’t really see the point.

I would like Glock to make a 19X with an optic-cut slide.

Karl, you should at least agree the stock, plastic iron sights suck.
