As an addition to the same side wrist grab, it might be easier and more effective if you slightly turn your hand inwards (so that you can kind of look on the upper side of you hand) and upwards. In the video it looked a bit like yanking the hand out, this wont work if the person has a strong grip. By turning inwards and up your body mechanic works for you and against your opponent because you use more of your biceps and the opponent has to pull down to keep a solid grip. I'm sorry I can't explain it better but try it maybe it works for you.

Hand trapping can lock his hand onto yours. He is now caltive! Convert to wrist breaker by applying hard and severe pressure on wrist joint. Turn body to lock shoulder in. Apply pressure. Depends on if you just want to escape or attack opponent.

Snaking your hand is easier than those 3 techniques. Its faster no extra movements from the body. Lesrned it from a FMA practitioner.

Number one: put yourself in the perfect position to take an elbow to the face
Number two: drop yourself down to perfect uppercut height
Number 3: could work if you're fast.
All of these techniques could be he beaten if the aggressor just waits for your move then releases your wrist and you are suddenly in some very compromising positions

That first wrist escape uses superfluous movements. None of that footwork or hip movement is necessary to break that grip

Yea, reach for the wrist while your chin is up in the air. Train speed, speed, speed!!! Stay to the outside of your opponents leading grab hand. Go inside and expect to go to the ground.
