    I would have said Muay Thai for kicking but actually Taekwondo probably edges it

    i think karate is better for self defense kicking stuff than taekwondo cause it’s more focused on power strikes than speed strikes

    Only ones that matter
    1) knives range: Muay Thai
    2) “trapping” range: clinch wrestling
    3) ground range : WRESTLING

    Face to face = JUDO

    Ground = jiu jitsu

    Standing, with distance = Muay Thai

    I generally like your videos and advice, but I have enough honesty and self awareness to know, that if I ever get into a violent encounter again, unless I'm lucky, or fighting someone really small or severely handicapped or very sloppily intoxicated, I'm either going to end up dead…Or somebody's bitch. (Or just seriously injured…All of the above!?😱)

    “Weapon” isnt a range. Weapons have different ranges too.

    Wouldn’t Muay Thai be the best example of combat exchanges seen in the “trapping” range? That coupled with the fact that it involves boxing and kicking ranges, and transitioning between them smoothly. I’ve honestly never really seen Wing Chun being used effectively.
