Once you shoot suppressed you will never again want to shoot unsuppressed. Also, huxworks SAFETY company. I applaud calling it safety. Thats how we change perception surrounding these devices.
I think suppressors have a bad rep because of how they appear in movies. Many people think that a suppressor makes a gun nearly completely silent, and that the only reason someone would want to use a silencer is to stealthily murder someone.
A gun with a suppressor is still super freaking loud. If you’re in your bedroom and someone fires a gun with a suppressor in your living room, you will still definitely hear it. Your neighbors will probably hear it. Guns are painfully loud, and even with a suppressor they are still stupid loud. If people knew what suppressors really were they would make them mandatory.
It's only cool because our masters say it is. Kinda like select fire. The fact that you still need hearing protection and they still have a flash signature, tells me money is better spent elsewhere.
Heres my opinion as a civilian. Who should use suppressors? Everyone, you should be able to buy them at walmart. Who really needs suppressors? Only military and citizens upholding the 2A need suppressors. Military to reduce muzzle flash, noise, and recoil. Citizens, so they are on the same level as the military. As a hunter, I would love to have a suppressor for my smaller calibers so i could go without earpro. The biggest barricade? Suppressors are an NFA item. I have several arms, most of which have the ability to he suppressed. What im not going to do is pay 500 minimum for the suppressor, pay the 200$ extortion fee, and go through the governments retarted process. I already have a CCW where i live, and you already have an in-depth background check(separate from nics) and a two month waiting period. If the NFA is ever repealed, I'll have at least 3 suppressors within that week. For any libs watching, the UK, which is very antigun, will fine you for hunting or doing shooting sports without suppressors. Food for thought.
Suppressors are excellent for the HD gun, for hunting and for a fighting rifle. To me they don't make as much sense at the range since I wear double hearing protection, but they still take away the concussion which can harm our ears too

Just shot a suppressed bolt rifle for the first time a few weeks ago. 300 PRC. It amazed me how low the recoil was. That big ass round felt like 556
