YOU ARE GOOD SIR, BUT I MUST DISAGREE.

I LEARNED MARTIAL ARTS FROM WATCHING KARATE KID.
AND MR. MIYAGI SAID : "BEST WAY TO DEFEND IS NO BE THERE."
    thank you 4 ur time.

How clear and precise this dude makes these moves is amazing. I have watched every video possible about these type of techniques and all are overly complicated, but this guy breakes it down at the perfect point to explain and demonstrate. You can see he is passionate about relaying this experience on to common people. I believe many of the others want it to seem way more complicated in order to stroke their ego. Well done, and thank you for this knowledge, im sure it will even save lives if not already. God bless.

I'm a former boxer and current professional boxing coach. I'd say 99% of the time the haymaker will be their right hand I like the shoulder roll for that it loads me up for a counter right of my own.

You cant leave your arm out there like that to block. The punch is coming at you with force and speed. If you try to block it Kunfu style you will get caught. The right way to do it is to bring your arm up and form a triangular shield and move in closer to your opponent from there you can land a jab to use your jabbing arm's shoulder as shield to defend you from the in coming right hook. Watch Martin Kampman's fight videos he is really good at this.

if you're opponent is larger then you don't use your upper body, westerners ALWAYS care about the upper body because they assume everyone is 6ft, if you're short go for the nuts/knee cap

This reminds me of a cop that said that one time a crowd got out of hand, his buddy who was a rookie wanted to go do something but the guy that had been a cop for years no we have to call for backup. Even though we may be cops still we're only human

I get it but the problem is being ready. See, he KNOWS he's fixing to take your head off.
You have to find a way to think that way too.

Prefer the straightforward counter elbowing*… Faster. Cleaner. And works any size.

    * Explain it: life isn't Steven Seagal movie, so there's more timing behind…

Live in the country with a good woman. Stay out of bars and taverns. Have big dog and an AR15. " Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face."
