They beefed up that g9 10mm round now. Look at it again on their site and you'll see they increased the velocity to over 1700 FPS. Yours in your video is showing the old velocity of 1500 FPS. I'm glad they beefed it up, because their old 10mm round of only 1500 FPS was performing at the same velocity as the 40 S&W, same specs and everything. Glad to see they spiced it up to its proper specs

All Glocks at heart.
The thumb on my supporting hand goes right under that massive take down lever, which i can get used to but it was admittedly very annoying when i first practiced with the firearm. This thing feels good in the hand/s. Extremely ergonomical. Put a Holosun titanium on it… and a Streamlight in the same color. Great set up. You can carry this concealed.
For bear country i prefer my G40 with 6" barrel or the KKM threaded barrel with comp.
lol the pit viper is prettied up Staccato P. paying custom prices for a vary production pistol is laughable. Chambers Custom for that price, and a FAR FAR superior firearm. The PV is a 3500 bean pistol. No way around that fact.

I have yet to have my M&P 2.0 40 or Glock 23 break on me lol they say 40 makes them break but if its a quality gun it's really not an issue at least it hasn't been with me and I shoot fairly often
Does FN make the 510 with a non-threaded barrel? I live in Illinois it can’t have a threaded barrel.

I have all of the new mainstream 10 millimeters. And still to this day, my Sig XTen still shoots the softest. That being said, I carry my FN 510 every single day concealed, and I carry it on duty every shift. Absolute beast. Love the sights, love the grip, love the mag capacity, hate the ambi mag release, and love the looks I get and questions I'm asked about it. My M&P10 recoils the hardest, it's so damn light weight and the texture is ridiculously rough. It stays in my truck with a holster and a chest rig loaded up with 10 mags full of 200gr hand loaded FTX's.
Be aware that the 510 mags may have an issue stacking in the wrong orientation (1,3,2,5,4) and it messes up the follower and thus ability to load the max ammo. Also, in corrected mags, it is still quite difficult to load and chamber that top round under pressure. Perhaps that will break in. Otherwise great pistol!
PSA – the FN has an unsupported chamber resulting in brass bulge. It’s worse than the Glock bulge. Reloading for the FN can result in case failure and blowout. I wish I know this before paying $1k for this gun. 😢
I spoke with FN regarding this concern. They said that they are aware of the issue, but aren’t doing anything to solve it. In their exact words, “the gun operates fine, you just can’t reload your brass.”
I’m sure that a certain slop is attentional to aid in reliability, but this is excessive. I’m would watch this closely. It’s only a matter of time before some has a blowout and this is elevated to a legal issue. 🤷♂️

There's a lot of good pistols coming out all the time now, but, I'm not buying new holsters, $55 mags, and parts.
If it really is someone's jam there is a lot of options.
10mm when loaded spicy is a big step up in power in a semi auto, without being some goofy wildcat, 10mm has decent popularity.
The new Smiths in 10mm are good too from what many who have them have said.
10 isn't popular where I live though.

Also the FN 22-round magazine cost $70 each. Screw that noise. Their 15-rnd magazine cost $60 each. Again, double 🖕🖕 for FN.

My FNS9 new 2012- Preasent… ( At least 10k rds+). I swear it Runs Better and Better each time I Bring it out to Range.. the tritium front sight still glows like it did the day out of the box.. personal preference did away with the rear sight. Kriss Vector gen2 alpine white and G20 works for me. G20 gen3 of the bat need some triggers n sights work. Overall 10mm is a good landscaping/target fuel

great video, i own a g20 but secretly want that fn real bad, i imagine full powered 10mm is best at "oh shit" distances but if anyone can bullseye 10mm at distance its the tactical rifleman lol
My 510 eats 40 S&W like it was made for it, recoil is better than 9mm, like a comp'd pistol… awesome.
The other 10mm I'd recommend for people in this comment section looking for one is the springfield xd in 10mm. The grip safety over a thumb safety turns me on for NDs. (Thumb safeties suck.) I never felt 100% safe appendixing a glock with one in the chamber. Though I'm no one special. 👍
Im really glad more manufacturers are making guns for this caliber. Its been glock and single stacks for a while…
