Snap caps are as well good for practice dead rounds. Cycling that action and getting to that next round or simply dropping a mag and reloading. 🤙🏾🤌🏾
go slow be conscious about it, muscle memory is nothing to do with muscle it's a habit and habits are automatic responses, be mindful about your new habit when replacing another then it will be a quicker process
Spec Ops Norm McDonald isnt real, he cant hurt you.
Meanwhile…
Start slow and build up speed over time with repititions… Slow is smooth and smooth is fast…
My left hand drills are getting better because I practice dry
Do you have a video of the proper way of doing a muscle memory at home?
Don't practice until you get it right. Practice until you can't get it wrong.
I do dry fire but i hear it brings about the bad habit of racking after every shot. Any commemt?
Hell, half the battle is even realizing you have bad habits
👍🏻
One question Karl, my Glock 19 has a horrible stock trigger. You have a specific one you can recommend?
You should contact Shawn Ryan and do a podcast with him about everyday personal defense. Different concealed carry choices and what not, not some crazy set up with lasers and lights
It’s as if we’re getting ready for an invasion of blues or something 😮
Using laser rounds is a huge help off range. Poor mans "laserShot" training with a 30$ round and free software can increase sight alignment and various other drills
How come the shirt you’re wearing doesn’t have a TRLogo and is in your store?
Outstanding! How you do anything is how you do everything!
Karl…another great short video. These short vids are like xmas gifts. I'll be putting the reps in. Thank You!!
TR Leads The Way!!!!
Learn it right, you’ll do it right the rest of your life. Learn it wrong, you’ll spend the rest of your life learning how to do it right.
awesome advice…you won't be surprised when flashbangs hit you in the face next time
It was the steady, tempered voice, along with the air of experience and confidence of Karl Erickson as demonstrated in this video that drove me to Tactical Rifleman! Great videos all!
Sound advice 👌
Seeds of wisdom right here.
Dont do it till you get it right. Do it till you cant get it wrong
Yes. Dry fire training, just as important as live fire. Gotta put the work in
That’s why I love my Cool Fire Trainer.!!
I’ll have the main dish of reps, with a salad topped with reps, reps for dessert, and a side of reps to go. Thanks SGM, excellent reminder.
Absolutely.. You should have at least 3x the hours in dry fire practice vs real shooting.. Just to make it clear: You need to dry fire a LOT.. do it all the time when you're lounging around.
