This is a slightly more advanced technique for doorway clearing. Not a starting point in your training but a really important skill to possess. In addition to “slicing” a doorway there are other options you can use, depending on what you sense when approaching the door. It’s typically not a good idea to barge into a doorway while clearing a building, especially when clearing by yourself and it is often possible to clear an entire room without having to enter it. It is also generally not recommended to pass across a fatal funnel but there are certain circumstances when it may be the smart thing to do.
If you intend to incorporate this skill into your range training make sure to do it safely and at a point in your training where your fundamental skills are already ingrained. This is another type of drill where you can never dry practice too much. If you don’t have barricades to use on the range you can just mark spots on the ground where the door would be and work on footwork and shooting while moving.

What if they shoot through the walls and doors?
What if they shoot thru the wall? Most resi and commercial buildings are generally drywall and either wood or aluminum stud framing a volley of rounds could thin you out before you ever got near the door way
I have my conceal carry and am a member of US Law Shield as well. Like you, I hope I never have to use my firearm in self defense. I keep my Driver's License, Concealed Carry Permit, and Texas Law Shield cards together in my wallet. When I got pulled over about 1-1/2 years ago for speeding on the freeway in Oklahoma City, the police officer was very polite with me. He asked if I was carrying. I told him it was under the seat at the moment, I had just left Shabbath services. He said, "Leave it there and we are fine."
You've never used those defense lawyers but you claim they're awesome?
You just lost trust equity with your audience brother.
cute but lol. 1. if the "cover" youre using to hide isnt thick enough, you may get shot right through it. especially if theres a visible shadow. 2. moving across the oppontents shooting window is taking a chance that the timing will not match the opponents shot. its gambling. 3. there are zero level changes. it makes you an easier target. 4. shooting while twisting reduces accuracy. virtually no chance to hit the opponent while they just need to keep a steady aim. too many movies lol.
the realistic and safer approach is to approach from an further away point at an acute angle going perpendicular toward a cover – thereby reducing exposure time and target volume.
👍
"distance is your friend"
I was taught at the gunsite academy.
Slicing the pie 🥧 by getting your muzzle close to the door is a fatal mistake.
As an American Infantrymen I must say the Israelis are the best
where was the broom
Once the first dude was shot you would get swiss cheesed through the wall by the other one. only works in 1v1 or in a room with 10cm thick metal wall
04:36 he forgot to switch shoulder to use. coming from right to left, the rifle butt should be on the left shoulder. otherwise, he will be showing half his body already before his rifle can be pointed to the target. the movement from left to right side was ok, but not ok the other way around. it is basic that you also learn switching which shoulder to use for your rifle's butt.
When my wife tells me to clean the house this is how I want to sweep.
What rounds is he firing in those force on force clips? Are those subsonic rubber rounds or something? Blanks?
Ty for your sacrifices for our country my friend.. salute
The great thing is when seals get ready to raid I was told from other seals it mostly goes on at night for concealment. Low shadow visibility. More opportunities to take out the bad guys.
They would just shoot through the wall from inside the room.
Well, I don't understand why you take first short so late when you must already see the target while being covered.
What kind of Gunbelt do you use? thx for your answer. 😊
Too risky… throw a grenade first…!
Thanks mate🥝🇳🇿😎
What's the name of the yellow wall in the begining?and what's the measures so I can built one
What is the gun he is using at the shoot house!? it’s shooting Shells but not real bullets ? but there is ignition inside?
"Flashbang through the door. Go…go…go"
An easier way would be to shoot through the wall, most walls are timber and hard board, or just put your gun around the door while firing or even better get a shake board on your back and roll in fast on your back shooting , that would be some funny stuff
Ok they don’t look up nice place to put shotgun and take one target 🎯 out
I’m going to an indoor airsoft tomorrow. Hope this helps me.
Interesting I stck to tryed and trusted way not let me down
Dead
Srsly, for most men I met worry about Home Defense are the guys who rock with huge beer guts and clearly drunk during night time, sure this video will help ‘em.
What if they shoot thru the wall ?
Just remember people that most of these interior walls are concealment, not cover.
fostech rifle?
Literally watching this so I can get better at rainbow six siege 😂😂😂😂
Would it be possible to “feint” as your slicing? Example: pretend to take a step, but not fully reveal yourself to them?
Are you able to clear the very corners of the room using the sweep? It's hard to tell how much he can see from the against the wall position
Great technique
Bullets go through Drywall… obviously you’re getting shot if they see your shadow
Nope
Ran around my house practicing this with a Nerf gun
Overall interesting and well presented. In practise though well trained defending men will be concealed, crouched and with padding surrounding them in case you send a grenade, not standing exposed. Also may have bullet proof armour, difficult to get to. The room may also be with covered windows and dark, making it easy for them to spot you and difficult for you to spot them. Since you may have surrounded the building offer them to surrender, smoke them out, use grenades, flash-bangs and last resort or when dealing with low level combatants do what you suggest. Overall a nice presentation thanks.
bullets go thru walls. just sayin.

What if it’s drywall only ?
Just to be clear. The reason you would use this method is if, for example, they would be able to see your shadow in the doorway and so going across and using speed is the best option?
top quality tech and tips. Kudos Imri. Also I do have a question: looking for an AR holster like yours, but cannot find it anywhere. Would welcome a tip, where can we get a stuff like that. Best wishez for you from Hungary.
Ty I literally have to clear a building the police say it's too dangerous to enter because of the temporary waterfall flowing in there. ( Busted pipes) a lot of trash go in there at night I gotta force out. These instructions make me less anxious.
