And if you was lucky, and not have a set rat fucked it came with a Hesco multi-tool
Fill them with what?
Couldn’t you just stack up a bunch of tires and fill them with sand?
Hesco bastion is actual name
YALL GOTTA START PINNING THE ORIGINAL VID IN BEGGING
This is the Final form of adult Legos
What is this frontend loader you speak of.
Farmers to the rescue again
Always wonder if those large contra tor bag dumpsters could be also used with the wire.
Use old tires and fill with dirt
Hell of alot of ex military cooks on here looking real tactical 😂😂 the real don't tell you how real they are.
More then likely just dig a hole instead lol
Nice idea there TR now it gave an idea for my yard that sloops down in the back yard. How do they do in the rain do they empty out or still keep there shape 👍👌✌️🫡🇺🇸
Little correction it is Hesco Barrier not basket, sorry but just saying
Ok how long do they last being pelted with bullets?
They are not that expensive at all
You had me at 500 privates with shovels
Theres a seabee setting up a hesco barrier. As a Seabee EO i filled them with an excavator.
One more thing for my to do list!
When a commanding general was coming to our FOB, our CSM had us outside the Hesko baskets we filled with our e-tools, in full battle rattle, weapons slung, picking up a hundred years worth of trash within a 1km from the city of Falluja, Iraq 🇮🇶, and we got mortared.
However the jihadis overshot us outside the wire, and impacted near where our platoon would have been staying and either killed or severely wounded an interpreter who didn’t have to do the shit details like we did. However they probably wouldn’t have hung the mortars at us had we not been outside the wire walking slowly cleaning up trash and sweeping sand.
Those were the days.
You can also make pretty awesome buildings! I filled Hesco Bastions and lived in them.
They're called Hasco barriers not baskets. Fun fact they also come with a free knife or multi tool. Your cheap Chinese crap multi tools are knives, but they're still in the package.
People downrange always called them barriers, not baskets. They are very, very useful.
Gibian walls. Probably spelt that wrong, but they’ve been used for centuries.
If that’s chicken wire, you got some big ass chicken
My guy needs to research gabian baskets
Recycle some used tires! Auto shop will gladly give them to you.
What illiterate idiot made the captions?
Nothing says modern warfare than new fangled containers for good old Dirt.
Yes, if you train and study tactics, you can do the same.
My Grandpa was a Sea Bee in W W 1 1 and he would have loved this video , then he'd tell us grandkids a few stories afterwards . If you can read this thank a teacher , if you can read it in English thank à veteran .
The militarily does not typically use privates with shovels. Heavy equipment is used I'd say over 95%of the time.
great tip
Hesco barriers not hesco baskets
👍🤙
Now I just need a great price on a decent plot of land and I’ll be in business.
Could also use old car tires as a form, and pack in the dirt. A lot of places will deliver the tires to you for free just to get rid of them. More work probably, but saves on cost.
my company builds military ranges and private ranges here in Florida,Pool liner on the natural ground,2' of gumbo clay, another layer of liner, the entire back Stop is built in a stair pattern, the liner and gumbo keep lead from washing into the ground water,
My brain just imagines how solid these will be in a couple of months once it’s rained a couple of times and the dirt compacts down . The only thing I’d do since it’s for range use and it’ll be seen is top of the dirt and then level it with gravel or mulch so the dirt doesn’t become a raised garden bed
