I always look at both cars on both sides. If I can't see in the vehicles on either side, I want open my door and will just pull off. In addition, I always look over my shoulder before opening my door, even if there are no cars on either side of me, because you can be sucker punched in the face as you are getting out of your car and then pushed back into the car while the attacker takes control of your car. It is truly a sick world out there, and you must be on guard 24/7.

So many bad things that happen to people is bc they aren’t being aware of their surroundings. Also, always trust your gut and just be smart. You can usually get away with violating one of the rules of stupid and be okay, but more than that and you’re asking for trouble: doing stupid things, with stupid people, at stupid times.
I begged my sister in law to stop running (this past winter) before work at a park when it was literally pitch black outside still. Thankfully, she did and I think she realized how dangerous it is to do things like that. Hopefully, what happened to that school teacher jogger in Memphis can save lives of others, even though, sadly, her story is not unique.
Unfortunately, feminism has confuse women to think that they are physically equal to men as well, which is definitely not the case, and has made them forget, to be aware of the fact that they are physically limited in fighting off a man in the vast majority of cases.
