He never addressed his left hand to grab, strike, and /or strip the knife hand from the guy using defense technique.

You're also steering your weapon down and away from his screen so that he can make that work. I understand this looks good, but this won't work cleanly on a resisting opponent.

You also aren’t accounting for hay makers coming from the other hand.

Of course it's not easy, but for people who say there's no such thing as a knife disarm have you ever heard of an armbar? An omoplata? If you can literally break their arm, you can disarm them. That goes for wrist locks as well.
Of course it's not easy, I shouldn't even have to explain that, but it's better to know what you can do and prepare.
Of course distance is first, but if you're in range you better be trying to get control of that knife; which means you better know how to Grapple

It is also important to note that many of the mechanics of this technique are specifically designed less to disarm.and more to prevent the attacker from transferring the knife to the other hand. This includes straightening the arm, and lifting it to maintain the pressure lock on the elbow, preventing the attacker from bending his arm and bringing the knife closer to his other hand, as well as stepping across the attacker's body to further isolate the knife hand and prevent the transfer. In fact, this is the main problem with almost all martial arts' knife defenses: they allow the attacker to merely grab the knife with the other hand and resume the attack.

You really think a 110lb woman is gonna take down a 300lb male assailant wielding a knife through this hand combat technique?

    No chance.

Why does he run away immediately after the technique, instead of finishing off the enemy? After all, this is idiocy … how does he know that he does not have a second knife with which he is about to end up in the back …. where is the logic here ???

That’s a great wrist lock he uses his whole body to get leverage not just his upper body legs upwards forwards for trapping the knife against the the back of his hand … then splits fast…..

If you can’t run away then the next best thing would be to teep/front kick….. grappling with someone armed with a knife = insanity

HI , Goat . I was thinking BE great if you did something for women ?
Like a umbrella , it can be a good tool to have ? A woman going in a door , a stranger tries to get in …
A push button umbrella , opens in a flash and if he tries to take it ? She should be already gone ? Flash to shock him 💥
HOPE ITS USEFUL I KNOW FOR SURE .
    💯 🙏 💚 🇮🇪

I liked your lessons so far but this is very dangerous!!! Never ever will you get hold of his wrist when he tries to kill you!!! If you get control of his arm you have to pray to God that he will not take it in his other hand and stab you to death. RUN and look for big stones which you can throw if you have no weapon on you which is very stupid…

Gotta jam your elbow into his thrusting joint elbow to prevent forward thrust & I like how simultaneously grabbing the weapon hand to prevent the sewing machine attack.

A older US Navy nam era Filipino at our church who fought 40 Filipinos in da Phillippines and beat the crap out of em taught me that jambing the attacking elbow with your elbow as you step in…if he thrust forward u can also pull his arm forward and rotate with pressure on the backside like an arm bar & chuck to the ground or wall & engage multiple attackers. He always taught dealing with multiple attackers and not getting locked up too much with one, but quick intercept, lock the elbow and chuck to the other guy or throw to the floor and stomp freeing your hands quickly for next engagement (s). ✌️🙏
