Remember this any self-defense been taught to remove a weapon from a person is extremely risky. The percentage is very low for successful encounter of this kind as you well know, you could swing a baton or a baseball bat if you have any athletic ability if you encounter a weapon, other than a gun or a knife best thing to do is run with a gun and a knife use all your skill and energy to fight off a knife which is possible a gun on the other hand is being robbed. Give them what they want and hope that they are not murderers.
