I live in Philadelphia, where unleashed pit bulls and other vicious dogs run amok. Tear gas has saved me in every one of the dozen or so dog attacks that I have encountered over the years. Guns are not necessary.
If a dog is on your dog you can remove him quickly and easy by twisting his collar around the back of his scull. He won't be able to breath and will let go. There is a video somewhere on youtube about this. I imagine you could do the same thing with a piece of rope using a slip knot.

I had a pitbull chase one of my cats once, but usually dogs like this won't let you get to close to them. It was so fixated on my cat that I was able to surprise it and jumped down on top of it off of a retaining wall. It was a small dog, only about 50 pounds and it's back snapped like a twig.

I love his videos, but John is the epitome of an armchair quarterback or backseat driver. I have small dogs, I have killed 2 large aggressive dogs who came into my yard. Both owners were charged. Also, why has John been in so many conflicts that he has had to use OC spray? I love the videos, but John Correia is the king of armchair quarterbacks.

In Montreal, in 2016, a 55 year old lady was tending flowers in her own backyard and the neighbor's pitbull jumped the 6 foot fence between their yards and tore her to pieces, she died there and the police had to shoot the dog to come to her help. Goodboy's name was Lucifer, his piece of shiite owner was a convict on parole, he was condemned to 50 hours of community work. It was proved he had trained the dog to be vicious and planned to use it if cops came to his house. The dude had problems with anger management. His lawyer said that he felt he had lost a member of his family when the dog was killed.

It's funny seeing the similarities between aggressive dogs and human thugs run after getting blasted by their intended victim.
I'm not saying he was wrong, I'm just saying: I don't think those dogs were charging, that was however a less than friendly approach on their part and I can't say for sure I wouldn't have fired a shot or two myself if I was unexpected faced with two dogs that big.

Idk why but dogs trying to intimidate me or attack me make me mad an my friend was like my dog won’t bite you and he did so I told my boy to pull his dog back he laughed and I choked the shit out of the dog until it was unconscious and he was like dude wtf but we got over it tho his dog never approached me again

I love dogs with all my soul, but don't have an issue killing them in defense. But I carry mace and a knife on me along with my firearm. Also a SJAMBOK in my vehicle. I really don't wanna shoot a dog.
I had a similar situation. But Alpha Took the hollow point almost point blank. I tried to get Beta but the backdrop was against the house. Alpha got up and ran but he didn’t get far. Oh and no I didn’t get hurt 😆 And sorry, no I didn’t have any remorse. When the authorities showed up they said what did you shoot him with a shotgun? I said no 9 mm Hornady hollowpoint. Yeah he didn’t look too good but I was like, better him than me.

I will never understand why people don't scream at dogs, if you have no weapon on you but you play dominant with loud deep scream they will most likely get scared from you, although this is a case were 2 dogs attack there are many videos where only one dog attacks.. Yeah and never back up fast like someone who wanna run away.

Agree with everything, except the use of force to protect your pet, my pets are family, and in a heartbeat I would use deadly force to protect their life, whether its from another animal or a person.
The only surprise here for me is they are not pit bulls. Worst dogs ever.

Damnit John, you had a good streak going, but you gave some iffy legal advice again. In many states it's legal to shoot a dog that is killing your pet or livestock.
The owners should do jail time
Use a landline to call 911vas your first option. Cell 911’s often go to highway patrol first & then have to be rerouted to your PD or SO. Expedite.
