It should be okay to execute any armed robber on the spot. No court, no hearing, just leave the body in a ditch where they belong.

In NSW Australia. A Police officer would be charged for shooting an offender in the back, they would consider the shitbag was no longer a threat to the victim or the officer when riding away. That is the law like it or not.

No problem with shooting an armed robber (from any angle). Had the shooter turned around the weapon would be pointed at the off duty officer.

Here a military policeman off duty in São Paulo – Brazil alone is waiting for the right moment and chasing armed robbers who robbed a pharmacy. Unfortunately they ran away. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKFYwPMqmnQ

No doubt this off duty was following these two dudes on the bike knowing they were up to no good and was soon gonna be able to smoke one or both of them.

why worry about a legal dispute of shooting someone on the back when its a criminal caught doing a crime? of course the guy is still a threat, he still has his gun, right? the only difference is that he dropped his guard.
