There's a reason why it's usually the biggest guy in the section/platoon/squad who carries this. ….

Yea as an infantryman unless we are on move forward we shoot from a supported position to get accurate fire to suppress for our team squad element

No no no! Your don’t lean forward!! SO ….when your nut sack runs empty and your leaning forward – what your brothers gonna say when you flop forward? You might not live that down – dude don’t have those bent chicken legs and be leaning forward – just straight steel post your rear leg and ass. I mean that rear leg all the way up to your asscheek should be a near straight steel post with your rear foot pointing forward not angled like most. And your steel post legs heal driven into the dirt solid man. And then keep your HEAD which is always your balance point, where the head goes the body follows, straight up over your torsos centerline! Super important so when your sack is dry you don’t flop forward!!! Fork man leaning forward you can take a round sub cap sub clav and you die. Use your plates keep ‘Em up and facing the CHOP. don’t lean and angle then they are only a few inches wide and useless!!! Go check out a saw and practice what I said and pass it on! Oh and the 6.8 that is a must do what I said the cycle rate is much higher and more punch! And that you wanna learn to be Dead On with as it was designed for some suppression but mainly for clean sweeping, cutting a clear path.

Former 0369. I'm 5'7". You have to be a beast to fire that thing standing. Not that it can't be done, you just see why frontline guys commit to incredible amounts of training and physical fitness.

I was in a beautiful relationship with one back in the day. We had a horrible break up when I left the Corps. I still miss her dearly 😢

Much improved over the M60 we had back in the day 25 pounds and that's without a 200-round belt of 7.62 loaded.
