The female officer really did a good job in trying to de-escalate the situation! She continued to give commands to the perp in a calm non threatening manner! When the perp went after the other man she moved in and put shots on the perp! She continued to control the other officers while remaining caln and in control! Very good job! 🤔👍

I'm wondering how the hell someone learns to be this calm under stress, I swear half the time you are just born with it. What I'd give to have even a sliver of her patience.

Without this amazing female cop the other cops who were acting more like rabid dogs would have killed the assailant immediately and maybe even shot the victim to death. The other cops were very unprofessional and sprayed their guns and were willing to shoot him more if she did t say chill stand down I can see his hands. Another thing to mention two cops could have shot their tasers and he would have been down as it’s a narrow corridor leaving him no room to run and if the taser did not work then use less lethal shots to the legs. Or they could have waited longer as he seemed to not be moving from his place and he maybe didn’t know English or have been mentally ill. But anyway given the bad policing from the others the officer who took charge here was amazing calm and did the best with the elements she had

First female cop I've seen on this channel who was composed, professional and quick-thinking. She's earned her badge.
LAPD did have a social worker on site. She talked sweet and calm, gave him fair chance to comply then shot the crap out of him.
