I'd keep the car, wallet, self phone and not waste the Police's time and resources. Just call them, tell them I shot at some burglars they can take a report I don't care to have it investigated.

Why is the garage door wide open? Why is the exterior door of the house open? So many questions. The homeowner is putting his life and his families lives at risk as well. He's also a bad shot.
