Seen at least 5 videos from america on this series where people are shooting at people from their car for road rage he always says "no charges were given" then in the UK a guy knock someones door and he gets jail time lol. as a road user, i wouldn't be in either of these person's shoes: instigating or retaliating. but red shirt was the aggressor, not knowing he was coming up against someone 10 times more crazy than himself. HE STARTED IT, and there should be a penalty for that.

In the UK this would be Assault occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) or perhaps or perhaps more likely Unlawful wounding/inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) – s.20 and wounding/causing GBH with intent. Apparently the harm need not be on the surface "grievous" to count as GBH. An assault using a vehicle is such significant use of force that it would almost immediately qualify as GBH. From the Crown Prosecution Service: "The “wounding” form of these offences should be reserved for those wounds considered to be really serious. However, it is appropriate to charge these offences when a wound is caused by a knife or other weapon, to reflect the seriousness."
