To the contrary. The victim's life did mean something to the perp. It meant a winning sensation. Had the perp left without shooting the victim after being "tried," I believe the perp would have been disappointed in himself. Almost like a sense of loss – as if he were the one that was robbed. After the third shot, I believe he felt a sense of victory, only to be lost upon hearing that his victim survived. Sadly, I've come to think that we live in a world where murder and taking are winning for far too many in our society. I'm not a psychologist nor have I studied this stuff. I grew up in Miami's inner-city and I'm just so damn tired of predators – and I'm ranting. Albeit ranting while armed and as ready as I can possibly be.
