I'm a Long Islander. This is definitely Long Island, NY. On Northern State Parkway Eastbound at Exit 31 (Glen Cove Road)
The best thing I would recommend to EVERYONE for their vehicle would be a front and rear dashcam. The video evidence is crucial or the other driver can fabricate a different version of events making you the aggressor. Remember the person that calls 911 first is usually the victim. ( I said usually).
I warned the road rager I'm armed. When he pulled beside me. He blocked me the same exact way and charged at me as he got out the car. People's ego are so fragile. It's beyond my understanding.
Stopping like that in front of somebody and opening the door is pretty dangerous, the person behind you could assume you're attempting to carjack them and you could end up shot
Had some idiot chase me down for the other day. Apparently I cut him off even though I drive a Corolla… I drove around the block 2x and guy followed me. I saw a restaurant with tons of people in front. Pulled in there honked my own, guy flew in, I started making a hell of a scene "This guy is chasing me, call the cops!" all of that. He apparently didn't like the attention, got in his car and left.
With that said. I am signing up for a concealed carry class here in FL ASAP.
My only concern is me overreacting and shooting him when maybe I didn't have to.
I think it's mainly a problem in the US. I live in Europe and I've never had to deal with such craziness. The worst thing I've experienced is someone flipping me off.

Yep driven this road multiple times… not to say road rage doesn’t happen everywhere but if you live in NY/NJ near the city ya know how people can be in rush hour morning and evening commutes. People don’t realize that raging on the road doesn’t guarantee you will return home after your shift… also little story—
Was on I-95 on the cross bronx about 5 miles before the GW bridge and was in heavy traffic, bumper to bumper at a slow roll. Decided to get over lanes one to the left and was stuck there for about 3 mins when a group of first bikers come riding through traffic and they took it as me trying to block them so one of them hit my side mirror trying to knock it off. He failed and most likely bruised his hand but yeah just another example that you cannot control anything but yourself so make wise decisions
