I always just flipped my wrist and exposed the magazine well for ease of loading. Eventually muscle memory removes any inclination to look at the magazine well while reloading. Additionally, it makes it easier to grab the magazine and put it inside your shirt instead of it hitting the ground.

I'm curious what are you gonna do when they come after you for training tactical? And firearm proficiency when the dipshit gov is trying to make it illegal Considering it to be militia training. You as a professional soldier I would like to know your opinion. Because me as a professional soldier.
I'm wondering why in the hell are we sitting back? Letting them do what they're doing to our people and our country…

you should ALWAYS manipulate the safety for those drills. Just because YOU cant and do it at time doesnt mean you shouldnt.

I’m curious what time we should be expecting from a 5r5 drill

When training, load 5-10 rounds in the magazine so you get proficient at reloading.

That's just silly. It has no bearing on reality. I guess as an exercise it's fun, but that's about it.

Another question is "do you run an opfor against the people you are training? Using pellet guns? Paintball guns?" To test how people react when the targets actually shoot back.

I understand that it is a drill but why not transition to your sidearm and finish the opponent? You know skip the chest and hit the eyesocket. And in full disclosure I am just a potter.

Good drill to practice, but honestly, 7M, faster to go to sidearm.

That's your choice of training. Personally i think the 1R1 is not necessary training. Multiple rounds fired would be more realistic and a meaningful approach. But in the end of the day, training is training.
