All these companies that dont allow their employees to legally carry, are a complete joke. Your life is more important than your job. Dont follow company policy.

If more people carried guns, and more people were trained with them, this kind of thing would happen a lot less. Mutually assured destruction will make people think twice, or three times, before deciding to escalate a situation to violence.

When I was a paper boy back in the day, I carried several firearms on my body and had multiple firearms and other weapons attached to my huffy. I refused to be a victim.

Given the assailant was mistaken, and unarmed I’m glad he’s alive but he does still win the ‘ Play stupid games win stupid prizes’ award.

I haven't honked my horn at or flipped off an idiot driver since I first started carrying a handgun. The slight satisfaction of telling a moron that he's a moron is not worth the risk of prodding him into a potentially deadly confrontation.

Good for the legality of this to come out as it did. It sends a message to calm down and think about what you are doing.

Moral of the story; don’t use your vehicle to force somebody to stop, leap out, walk purposefully toward the vehicle and expect to have a rational conversation with the driver. Expect to get shot. This guy was lucky he was warned first,,,

Fuck uber and Lyft's policy, you bet your ass I'm gonna carry. It's stupid as hell that you let unknown strangers in your vehicle but you're told you're not allowed to defend yourself from unpredictable people, more often or not those people are drunk. I'm talking about personal experience by driving for both companies
