Fog of war tactics.
I'm glad the female employee took the initiative in grabbing that gun, but I wish she would have had the guts to use it to protect her own life. She appeared to lower the gun and back away from the perp AS HE IS REACHING for another weapon. It shows at 0:55 that she looks to the side twice at her male coworkers as if they were telling her not to shoot, and then she lowers her weapon and backs away. And then points it again when the perp takes out pepper spray. A robbery attempt is the not the time to second guess defending yourself. Anyway, I can't be too hard on her because she actually did save everyone lives when she grabbed it and ultimately everyone was able to leave uninjured, and perp was still brought to justice. Though not the kind of "justice" we are used to seeing on this channel.
I mentioned fire extinguisher defense since they everywhere in America like a month ago. Turns out he made a vid on it a year ago

To my mind he was still in the “imminent commission of a felony” when he refused to comply, refused to leave and pulled out a pepper spray. Lethal force is 100% justified in most states for this. I think it was a terrible idea to use the fire extinguisher. It neutralized the distance advantage of the only force multiplier that mattered

Also not that I condone robbing businesses or other criminal activity but MAN that guy was dumb from the absolute get-go. Common sense will tell you (or should) that if you're gonna hold up a business don't turn your back from the people you're terrorizing and don't put your gun down in a position where your would-be victims can get to it and turn the tables on you. Safely assuming he ended up going to jail, he should have 5 additional years AT LEAST slapped on his sentence for his stupidity.
4:10 John, if you read comments, i will have to disagree with you there about dropping out the mag once you acquire the assailant's gun. Especially when you see later in the video the robber digs into his own pocket. If in a situation like this you're lucky enough to acquire an assailant's gun, be ready to use it AT ALL TIMES! If in THAT situation he goes into his pocket to draw ANOTHER weapon, assume he has ANOTHER weapon and be well prepared to act accordingly, even if it means putting a few shots on that guy. Worry about legal ramifications later and your life and safety FIRST and foremost.
