So, you have made the conscious decision to carry a firearm. Now, you need to make the conscious decision to Practice with that firearm. Get off the computer and get out to the range. Take combat marksmanship courses trained by professional instructors. There are lots of great courses out there, and I’m sure that you can find one local.

Buffalo shooter vid taught me that whether armed or unarmed, if you have no SA, you're dead. Indiana mall shooting taught me that SA and practice can lead to an 80% hit rate at 40yds with a glock.
A couple of years later, everyone is talking about concealed carry and such but I'd bet at least half who are carrying now think that just having the gun makes them safer. You 100% correct in my book. You're either helping or you're hurting.
Yes
Yep…
Thank you sir
16 fudds downvoted because they only need one shot with their 1911
Agree. Thank you
Great message. Rerelease or new video, which ever you prefer. 👍
Lately my range visits have dropped maybe once every few months now but I'm still taking an annual pistol class and constantly dry fire training ect.
I bought that mantis system it works well to keep my finger control sharp but hopefully ammo in my area will come down soon and the ranges will clear up.
The main problem were I live is the million plus new gun owners are all trying to shoot their new guns snd the ranges are not only packed but filled with people who have never shot a gun before.
If you can’t be responsible enough to to practice with your carry pistol leave it a home. 🔥👍
I always quiz my wife when we are walking around or out on a date how many people she saw carrying open or concealed or if she saw knives. Training her to be observant at all times. its a good game to play when on a date….
Outstanding advice top. Hooah
Who the hell dislikes such a mindset?
My personal experience proves this wrong.
Couldn’t agree more. No practice, no carry. Be responsible. Ammo high cost – dry fire, drill, drill, drill. Work on basics slowly and increase speed as your form improves.
Who's this handsome young guy on YouTube?
Nohomo.
I carry and licensed i do practice even though not enough ammo once a month i do dry fire and trying to get my sister to get out to shoot her 9mm!
Help me with my sister
I just wish ammo wasn't so expensive, I used to go to the range once or twice a week. Now I'm lucky if I can get there once a month. I can't get down lower than a certain amount of ammo, without having enough to use it for it's intended purposes, if God forbid things get as bad as I think they could. But I dry fire the shit out of my guns, and run more drills because of that fact. Because there's no noise, I can practice as much as I want without disturbing neighbors. The dry firing and weapon manipulations and drills actually help alot! I can still get the bullets where it counts with live fire drills. Only now I practice alot more of the things I wasn't at a range that doesn't allow it. For that I've actually become a better, faster, more accurate, and flexible shooter. But I definitely agree, if you bought a gun and went to the range once or twice, then carry it thinking your squared away. Just leave it at home, because you have to be able to hit your target, and do it under stress!🤜🤛🇺🇲🇺🇲
Good stuff
If I did not train with my firearm I would not feel competent enough to carry it. 160 hours of professional training in the last 24 months… Besides shooting and training is fun…
It’s called terminal responsibility. I was taught it when I first got to start being around firearms. Don’t hear anything about it these days.
Very good idea, Thank you very much
Great video!
You never RISE to the LEVEL of the occasion you only RISE to the LEVEL of your TRAINING….
Dry fire cost ZERO $$$ and is a highly effective training practice. Airsoft is far less expensive than live rounds and is also an extremely effective tool. Stop using lack of $$$ as an excuse for not training. It's like saying you can't get in shape because you don't have the $$ get a gym membership, when in fact you don't need a gym to get in shape.
